The project stems from the desire to see storytelling as an opportunity to discover from childhood onwards and together with families the enormous power of reading and books as a valuable tool in a person's education, which can be calibrated according to age group. Reading with children but even more, reading with their families is a valuable opportunity. During reading is built an intimate growing relationship, interpersonal and shared creativity, where the practice of reading becomes, not only a good school practice, but a habit and a good practice, observed and learned, to be shared and lived with continuity in the family from an early age.reading with children is a pedagogical act of the highest value.
Activity Description (Procedure)
In the pre-listening phase, attention is drawn to the cover illustrations, which already draw us into the story, to stimulate curiosity and attract attention. The listening phase will consist of dialogue reading by the readers (teachers involved, but also parents present) of the selected albums, the reading can be followed without forcing, by a dialogue to discuss the topics that have emerged, possible solutions, alternatives to the text, preferences, emotional experiences.
Each meeting opens and concludes with a "ritual", an animated reading "We're going on a bear hunt" that signals the end of the reading moment.
