Activity Description (Procedure)
The map of Turkey, divided into 7 regions, is brought to the classroom. The number of students in the class is divided by seven and the distribution is made so that each group has one region. Each group collects information about its own region. This information consists of:
- Actual or sample pictures of the product grown in the region
-Historical monuments or buildings belonging to that region
-Natural beauties of that region
The activity is done as follows:
The children come to the classroom wearing their local clothes. The teacher makes the children watch the region's promotional videos. Then the folklore music of the regions is played. Children dance to the music and the activity is completed under the guidance of the teacher.
