Monument Tree

Activity Description (Procedure)

First, the colored strips are cut in the form of long rectangles. These are then formed into a ring and a large chain is formed. The teacher gives information about the monumental tree to the children and meanwhile the children examine the tree. Then they wrap the big chain they brought with them around the trunk of the tree and observe how many chains measure the trunk of the tree in total.
