Letters of Affection

Activity Description (Procedure)

1. Regarding the exploration of the letter as a type of text, the students read and interpreted a letter written by a grandmother to her grandchildren.

2. Each student individually wrote a letter to a recipient of their choice.

3. The face of the envelope was filled in with the data “sender” and “addressee” and the letter was placed inside.

4. The class walked to the nearest post office.

5. Each student removed the password in turn and individually performed all the necessary procedures to purchase the stamp and send the letter to the chosen recipient.

6. Evaluation of the activity with the students.
