Theme of the week: "In the world of stories "
Name of the activity: Integrated activity "Ours stories" - outdoor reading and painting
Carrying out the activity:
     Reading is the main way of enriching the vocabulary.
     Reading sessions can be done at home, in the classroom but also outdoor.
     In the week "In the world of stories" we proposed the children a series of stories:  “Elmer the Patchwork Elephant” by David McKee, “Not just a book” by Jeanne Willis and “Brown bear brown bear what do you see”, by Bill Martin. 
          Each class chose their favorite story and went out into the school yard. 
The 3-4 year old children listened “Brown bear brown bear what do you see”, by Bill Martin.
The 4-5 year old children listened  “Not just a book” by Jeanne Willis.
The 5-6 year old children listened  “Elmer the Patchwork Elephant” by David McKee.
The reading session ended with the children's favorite activity: painting.
With eyes closed, a child chose a single book and they painted the main character.
The painting activity took place in the classroom.
The results of the activity were displayed in the school corridor.
