Hacivat and Karagöz

Hacivat and Karagöz appear as two very important figures in Turkish history. Even though they are in constant conflict with each other, their true knowledge and teaching aspects cannot be ignored. On this occasion, a study was carried out with these two figures with the students. First, the Hacivat and Karagöz theater were watched together with the students. The students enjoyed the theater very much. Later, each student in the classroom was given Hacivat and Karagöz coloring pages. Children painted these pages as they wished. Under the guidance of the teacher, the children cut these pages. Sticks were attached to the back of the coloring pages and the puppets were completed. In the puppet stage, the children played Hacivat and Karagöz.
